Ideas for Winter Holidays – Accommodation with Jacuzzi Facilities
When June arrives in South Africa, many of us are in need of a mid-year break and a comfy place to spend the winter holidays. Unlike in summer, outdoorsy and beach destinations are often deemed cold and unpleasant in winter. Instead we opt for cosy hideaways or as you should do, plan trips to accommodation with Jacuzzi and spa facilities. After all, a Jacuzzi is not a symbol of luxury for nothing.

Over the years we have made lots of tweaks to the Sleeping-OUT website, constantly trying to improve your experience on our site. One of the aspects we are most proud of is our advanced search filter.
On many online accommodation directories you can expect to find a generic search field asking you for the dates of your stay, the number of people you would like to book for and where you’d like this accommodation to be. We have gone one step further. (more…)

With the end of May hurtling towards us, it might be time to start discussing the South African whale watching season. Through-out the year whale watching in South Africa will lead to sightings of species like Bryde’s, Humpback and Orca whales but the jewel in South Africa’s marine crown is, without a doubt, the endangered Southern right whale. Darling Made Me Do It – A Road Trip to Darling
‘Just where are we headed to now? You do know that we passed the turn-off a good couple of kilometres back?’ These are the words that are inevitably spoken en route to Darling when I’m the designated driver.
