As most of you are aware, there are currently massive fires raging across Knysna and Plettenberg Bay at the moment and are causing a huge amount of damage. These wild fires have decimated houses, nature and heartbreakingly some of the establishment listed with us. This has caused utter chaos along the Garden Route and more than 10 000 people have been evacuated. The fires are being fanned by the winds of the devastating storm (#capestorm) that has hit the Western Cape, the largest it has seen in 30 years. It has been reported by The Citizen News outlet that 5 people have already lost their lives due to this catastrophe, and that 30 fires are still raging across the town.
