7. Magic Mountain Hotel, Huilo Huilo Reserve, Chile
Staying at The Magic Mountain will certainly make you one with nature. Set in the midst of the Chilian Patagonian Rainforest, this cone shaped hotel reminds us of the hobbit house; blended into nature with little rounded windows peeping out amoungst vines and moss. The hotel has a waterfall which cascades from the roof and a rope bridge is the only way in and out.
6. Icehotel, Jukkasjärvi, Sweden
The Ice Hotel is made entirely of ice and snow, including rooms, chairs & beds, bar and wedding chapel. It is rebuilt each year and artists are invited to redesign the various rooms meaning that no room will ever be the same. The hotel remains at −5 °C to ensure that the structure doesn’t melt.

The Treehotel in Harads, Sweden, is home to 6 tree rooms which are suspended 4-6 metres above the ground in a pine forest. Each tree house has its’ own theme; The UFO, The Birds Nest, The Dragonfly, The Cabin, The Blue Cone (which, oddly enough, is bright red) and The Mirrorcube.
The Mirrorcube is the perfect hideout as it is camouflaged by mirror walls which reflect the trees and surroundings. It is a 4x4x4 metre box which has been suspended around a tree to provide spectacular panoramic views. The room sleeps 2 people and has a bathroom, lounge and a rooftop terrace.
