Just You, A Board, The River & Nature
Join us for a boat trip up the Keurbooms River, followed by an hour-long stand up paddling experience in the tranquil surroundings of the Keurbooms Nature Reserve.
Stand-up paddle 1km through the deep ravines and indigenous forest on the quiet beauty of the Keurbooms River with the call of the Fish Eagle and the flash of the Knysna Loerie overhead for company.
The one-hour-long paddling portion of the adventure begins at Whiskey Creek, past which no motorised watercraft may proceed, so you can relax and take in the surrounding unspoilt beauty of the Keurbooms Nature Reserve, without worrying about what’s happening on the river.
No experience is needed – regardless of your level of ability, you’re sure to have a great time. Children are welcome! Tuition and a safety briefing is provided before setting out.
It is advisable to bring along a warm top, bathing costume, sunscreen, headwear & any medication you regularly use, such as asthma pumps, etc.
Stand Up Paddling takes place every morning at Plettenberg Bay Forever Resort.
